I cannot express the amount of excitement I feel about going home. I just went out to eat with a friend and poor her had to listen to me going on and on about home. The concept of moving so far away has definitely made me appreciate home much more than I used to. But first let's talk about what I've been up to the past few days.
Saturday I did some last minute shopping with my friend Diksha. We went into the city, did some browsing, found things we couldn't afford to buy, got depressed because we can't afford the awesome shoes we found, had some lunch, and headed home.

Street performers are half the reason I love living in a city.
With my excitement about going home I packed a few days early, and was completely packed and ready to go last night. That left all of today for me to wait anxiously with nothing to do. So I headed to Circular Quay to kill some time. The weather was BEAUTIFUL (Finally! It's been raining non-stop lately). It was really sunny and I was able to walk around without a jacket on.

It's 3D :)

YAY street performers :)
Later I came back to campus and got all of my enrollment issues figured out, and FINALLY have a timetable for next semester...
The classes should stay set, but the times will probably change before the semester starts in efforts to be in the same tutorials as my friend.
Then, since I've been letting my food stock run low I went out to dinner with Diksha again since she's also leaving soon and has no food

Mmmmmm, It's Time for Thai :)
And now I'm here just chilling, about to try and maybe get some sleep (although I doubt I'll be able to).
|
I want to bring heaps of stuff back so I'm packing lightly :)

All ready to go.
My flight leaves Sydney at 9:45 am Tuesday morning and I arrive in LA at 6:45 am Tuesday morning. Time change is a funny thing. I have another stop-over in Minneapolis, then I arrive in Moline! From the time I arrive at the Sydney airport (plenty early so I can get through security and make it to my flight in plenty of time) to the time I arrive in Moline I will have spent over 28 hours in airport/on airplanes. It will be so worth it though.
I'm out for now and my next post will probably be from America!!!!
