Elections
So the Federal Elections are happening here on Saturday.
Its been interesting being around during election season.
Honestly, overall it doesn't seem that much different than home. I mean, it's a different system, different people and what not but it's still politics. You know the usual name calling, unfair accusing happening on both sides everywhere from the civilian level all the way up to the politicians themselves.
As I do not have any form of permanent residency here I cannot vote. The plan is to be able to someday if I end up staying here once I'm done with my education.
Fun Fact for the day:
In Australia it is compulsory to vote in the Federal Elections. If you don't (and don't have good reason) you get fined.
