It is amazing how productive I get when I'm procrastinating on uniwork. So far I have done my washing and am currently waiting for my drying to get done so I can actually fold it and put it away. I cleaned my room which involved actually vacuuming AND cleaning the windows and mirror. I spot cleaned our kitchen and did all the dishes in the sink as well as put away all the dishes that had previously been on the drying rack. And now I'm going to write a short blog post. All for what? To avoid answering 5 Economics questions.
So here are some pictures of my apartment...

I have the best stalker view from my window :)

Notice the shiny clean mirror :)

Family photos and drawings from the girls <3

Our living room (yes those are balloons on the wall)

And our kitchen (The living room is behind me)
I have 5 housemates. We share 2 bathrooms (which I won't provide pictures of because it's just a bathroom). Maria is from Spain. Debra and Felicia are from Singapore. Mayumi is from Sri Lanka. And now I feel like a total jerk because I don't know where Eunice is from.
We had another spider fiasco the other day which involved me waking up to "SHAYLA!!!!! THERE'S ANOTHER SPIDER!!!! THIS ONE'S MASSIVE!" I run out expecting something actually massive... it wasn't. But I killed it and the crisis was averted.
Last Thursday we were supposed to have another Limo Party, which involves The Village hiring a party bus (complete with DJ) and we get driven around to 4 different establishments and get a free drink at each one of them. The last one was a huge blast so we were all pumped for this one but Wednesday night we were informed that someone broke in to and vandalised the bus so it was canceled. That was a huge disappointment.
The IGA (A grocery store) finally opened up at the Terraces (The apartments right next to ours). This was a pretty exciting happening because until now we had to walk all the way to Coles at Randwick (a whopping 0.9 miles... uphill bothways ;-) ).
The most exciting part of my day was when I found a messed up machine in Laundry so I got to do my drying for free (save $2 dollars = WIN!!!!) AND I found a $2 coin in one of the washers.
It's getting colder here. I've started to wear jeans and a jacket here and there. It makes me a little sad to see it getting nicer back home as it gets colder here but I guess that's payback for all of the beach days I had while it was snowing in Iowa.
Well then. This is officially the most interesting post I've written so far... :-| As you can see my life here continues to be soooo exciting. My drying is done now so I'm going to end here.
